Evolution Town Planning were successful in obtaining planning permission for a 1 megawatt anaerobic digestion plant in Stradbroke, Suffolk.
The planning application built on an earlier planning permission for a smaller plant and included design changes and increased capacity reflecting improvements in technology and processes.
The planning application faced significant local objections and the County Council’s planning committee took a keen interest. When the planning application went before the planning committee for a decision it was described as comprehensive and good quality and it was voted through and approved without delay. This allowed our client to meet renewable energy subsidy deadlines keeping the project viable in the long term.
