We have obtained full Planning Permission for five new homes in the countryside near Wyverstone, Suffolk.

Working with a local landowner, Evolution Town Planning first established the principle of housing development on the site by obtaining approval for the conversion of a redundant agricultural barn into residential properties via Class Q of the General Permitted Development Order.

We then used this as a springboard to propose an improved, carefully designed new build scheme which enhanced the visual relationship of the new homes with the village, moved the homes further from an area affected by surface water flooding, and recreated a historic farmyard layout. We worked with the Parish Council to obtain local support for the replacement scheme and overcame issues relating to heritage impact, flood risk and loss of agricultural land.

This has given the Client an excellent development of five new build homes.

The homes will provide much needed accommodation for local people and will create an attractive development.
