Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent have been granted for the redevelopment of Crumps Farm, St. Nicholas-at-Wade in the District of Thanet. The site is partially within the St. Nicholas-at-Wade Conservation Area, but is outside of the village confines, being located within designated countryside. The proposed scheme achieved the conversion of the existing Listed and non-Listed barns and cottages, the demolition of some more recent barns and buildings, and the development of two new-build dwellings. In total the scheme proposes 9 new homes. The applications required complex heritage issues to be addressed along with access and highways issues and visibility.
