Exciting New Holiday Home Development

We have been successfully helping Lanwades Hall near Newmarket in Suffolk. The Hall was bought by its current owners several years ago. We have gained several consents for the owners changing the use of this large Grade 2 listed building into a wedding and events venue. We recently gained consent to create three new large holiday lets in its walled garden. The walled garden had been used commercially by the previous owners and was in a poor state of repair.. The application sought to restore the garden by creating holiday lets to replicate large glasshouses which used to be inside the walled garden. To make the development workable significant changes were required to the external walls and buildings around the garden. Gaining these changes was a result of careful work with the Council’s Conservation and Planning Officers. The resulting development will provide 17 bedrooms across three properties which will provide accommodation for wedding guests, making this an exciting evolution in the development and use of the Hall.
