Buntingford Development

In July 2013, a hybrid application was submitted to East Hertfordshire Council proposing a development of 180 homes, amenity land for community uses, creation of new accesses including one on to the A10, and a 50-60 bedroom care home and sheltered accommodation, on a total site area of over 15 hectares.
After extensive public consultation, the scheme was granted full permission by the Council in October 2015. This was a rarity in Buntingford where most residential applications had to go to appeal.
The development has now been started and creates an attractive entrance into the town, with a large amount of open green space and attractive buildings on the main road frontage.
