Working for the landowner we gained planning consent for four homes on a site within the development boundary of a village in Suffolk.

We worked with the landowner to appoint a consultant team to provide advice on architecture, land contamination, landscaping and tree protection.

The development was designed with a local architect to be in context with its village setting. The site was next to a grade 2 listed farmhouse and several existing homes. Therefore care was taken to ensure that the design of the development respected the setting of the listed building, and the amenities of the neighbouring homes. Planning approval was gained without the need for appeal which met the client’s objective of working with the Parish Council and planning authority to gain consent locally.
