Consent was gained on behalf of Boxford Fruit Farms for an Anerobic Digestion Plant designed to process waste from neighbouring fruit farms.

As a result of our expertise in this area of renewables we advised the client on the planning application strategy, and the use of appropriate consultants to support the application. We were able to advise in detail how each of the consultants reports covering issues such as highways, landscape and drainage had to be specifically tailored to support a planning application for the Anerobic Digestion Plant.

The planning application was submitted to Suffolk County Council. The confidence that our expertise in this area was able to inspire in the Council meant that the application was approved in 8 weeks rather than the normal 13 week period in which the Council is allowed to decide such planning applications. This speed of this approval greatly assisted the client in delivering the project on time.
