Success in Hopton
September 30, 2022
We gained planning consent in 2019 for a development of 37 homes and a new village hall in Hopton, Suffolk. We advised on amending the proposal which was for 20 homes when we first became involved to a scheme for 37 homes with open space and village facilities which gained significant local support before being approved at Planning Committee. The larger scheme first became a Local Plan allocation following work we carried out on the Local Plan and then received planning approval.
The site has now been sold by the landowner and we are delighted to have been instructed by the housebuilder to help with amendments to house types and dealing with the planning conditions to ensure that the site can be delivered quickly.
We are working on small and large housing schemes in many Suffolk villages, both via the Local Plan process and through planning applications and would be happy to discuss how we can help new clients.
