March sees Success with Large Scale Developments.
March 31, 2021
The last few weeks have been a fruitful time for major planning approvals.
We have gained consent for 90 homes in Stone Cross in Wealden District in Sussex. This is the cumulation of several years of work promoting sites in the Local Plan. It is the second site where we have been successful for the same landowner. We gained consent for 99 homes in 2013, again following a successful Local Plan promotion. The key to the success was identifying the benefits that the development of the sites could bring. Close working with the local Council and well prepared planning applications ensured that a range of constraints such as noise, highways, archaeology and drainage did not prevent consent being granted.
We have gained Reserved Matters consent for a 150,000 square feet warehouse in Thetford. This is the cumulation of a project that seeks to regenerate under-used industrial areas in the town.
Finally we have consent for a major development of holiday homes on the Yorkshire Coast.
