We are pleased to have advised the landowners and latterly Hopkins Homes on their development of homes at Woolpit. The process started with discussions with the District and County Council to assess the infrastructure requirements. Local consultation followed. The result was a planning approval for 300 homes with land set aside for a new village primary school, open space that can facilitate the expansion of local sports clubs, a new burial ground and village car park. Detailed road design will create a new junction off the A14 and will take traffic away from the historic village centre. We partnered with Bidwells on the planning application. We led on the local plan representations which have achieved a draft allocation at the time of writing and representations which achieved amendments to the Neighbourhood Plan.
