Planning Consent in Cockfield and Woolpit

This month has seen the results of a lot of work in villages. We have achieved planning consent in Cockfield, Suffolk for the development of nine homes on a redundant garage site. The challenges were getting enough development on the site to make the remediation of the site viable while ensuring that there was enough parking and that neighbours were not adversely affected. Clearly setting out that the site was not viable for any continuing employment uses ensured that a marketing campaign for twelve months was not needed to prove this point. This allowed the developer to get on with the development.

We are pleased to have helped Woolpit Cricket Club obtain planning consent for a new indoor cricket building. We have sponsored the club for a number of years. It is going from strength to strength with a large number of men’s and ladies teams and we hope that the indoor facilities will  help the club to flourish.
