Lanwades Hall, Kentford
March 11, 2019
We are pleased to have worked with the Animal Health Trust (AHT) based at Kentford on new offices, accommodation for their intern veterinary staff and on the change of use of Lanwades Hall. The AHT offices were housed in the listed Lanwades Hall. This was expensive to maintain and lacked the facilities needed for high quality office and intern accommodation. A planning consent was obtained for new office and intern accommodation. Working with the local planning and conservation officers, the new buildings were designed to ensure that there was no adverse impact on neighbouring listed buildings, ecology and residential properties. Lanwades Hall has been sold to a new owner and we have worked with the owner to change the use into a wedding venue, conference centre and venue for fitness classes. This has involved three applications in a phased development to allow the change of use to be tailored to the owner’s requirements.
