Barnsley Local Plan

We are pleased to have obtained housing allocations for around 400 homes in the Barnsley Local Plan. This Local Plan has recently been endorsed by a planning inspector. We have also been successful in having 14.5 hectares of land removed from the Green Belt for future development, thereby greatly increasing the client’s land value. This land was promoted all the way through the Local Plan process and we attended the Local Plan Examination and presented our case to the Planning Inspector.

We have been involved in several other Local Plan Examinations this year and have obtained housing and employment allocations in Suffolk and elsewhere. We are currently promoting land for some 4,000 homes through the Local Plan process across the country and so are well placed to advise on this type of work.
