Babergh Housing Approval

We obtained planning consent for 3 homes in a rural location in Babergh District. The decision was obtained locally and not at appeal, following careful negotiation with the planning authority avoiding the need for a costly, time consuming planning appeal. The key challenges for this site was the rural location, nearby listed building and the local character of the area. When the site was introduced to us, many thought these issues were insurmountable. This consent shows that a careful assessment of the opportunities, and a close working relationship with the planning authority can see a scheme approved with minimal changes.
