Consent for Five New Apartments in the Historic Core of Bury St Edmunds
August 26, 2017
We obtained consent from St Edmundsbury Borough Council for five apartments on the edge of Angel Hill in Bury St Edmunds.
The planning application required detailed negotiations on the impact of the development on adjacent residential property.
The approved scheme was the result of close work with the Borough Conservation Officer and Historic England to ensure there was no harmful impact on Angel Hill, the Town Centre Conservation Area and an adjacent Grade II* listed building. This resulted in the scheme being approved with only minor changes from the original scheme.
